Share Advantage Credit Union now offers student loans! SACU and Great Lakes Higher Education Corp. have teamed up to bring you some great education lending programs. Choose from a Federal Stafford Loan for a student financing his/her own education, or a Federal PLUS Loan for a parent(s) financing a student's education. There are a few steps to apply for these loans:

Complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).

Receive your SAR (Student Aid Report).
|
| 3) |
Receive your Award Letter noting how much financial aid you are eligible to receive.

| 4) |
Complete your MPN (Master Promissory Note), including our lender code 830632.

-Download a copy of the FAFSA instructions and Quick Reference Guide. (pdf)

-Download a copy of the MPN for Federal Stafford Loans. (pdf) |

-Download a copy of the Federal PLUS Application & Loan Note. (pdf)

If you are completing an MPN, you must also complete lines 3 - 13 on the School Certification Form (can be found at your nearest SACU office), including our lender code 830632.

Either return the completed MPN and School Certification (lines 3-13) to the nearest credit union office, or return the completed Federal PLUS Application to the school of choice. |
